Hindsgavl Nature Reserve
Step into the tranquil surroundings of the Hindsgavl peninsula, where red deer and fallow deer roam freely in an open and diverse landscape. With trails adapted to all levels and beautiful views of the Little Belt, the animal park offers nature experiences for both children and adults – just a few minutes' walk from the campsite.
Hindsgavl Nature Center
Hindsgavl Nature Centre is the modern and eco-labeled meeting place in the heart of the wildlife park. Here you can borrow equipment, play, eat over a campfire and take part in guided tours – all in a sustainable setting, just a few steps from the campsite.
The lake bath
Middelfart Lakeside is a charming diving gem – just 800 meters from the campsite. The yellow swim building creates the setting for one of the best diving spots in the Little Belt. With free access to wall dives at several levels under the Little Belt Bridge, you have ample opportunity to experience colorful wildlife and impressive depths. A washhouse, free gear cleaning, and parking make the visit extra convenient for divers all year round.

Café visit
Enjoy a break in the town's cozy café environment - a few kilometers from the campsite is the town of Middelfart with a wide selection of cafés. Here you can enjoy everything from brunch and burgers to hand-brewed coffee and cakes with a view of the Little Belt.
CLAY Ceramics Museum
Visit CLAY – a modern museum of ceramics and design with both classic collections and changing exhibitions. Beautifully situated with a view of the Little Belt and just a few kilometers from the campsite.
Culture Island and the harbor walk
In the middle of the harbor is KulturØen – with a library, cinema, and tourist information. An ideal place to start a city tour or walk along the marina, where sea and city life meet in a cozy way.
Porpoise safari from the harbor
