General information about online trading

Here you will find useful information about using our online booking system. You can read about how we process your information, how you receive a receipt for your purchase, and much more.

 

Sales and delivery

Payment

All prices in Hindsgavl Camping's online booking system are, like the rest of the website, stated in Danish kroner (DKK) and include VAT and all taxes, unless otherwise clearly stated. Prices stated in euros (EUR) are for guidance only.

 

Payment can be made with one of the accepted payment cards for online booking, including Visa, Mastercard, and Diners (Please note that a fee is charged for payments made with foreign credit cards). The amount will be deducted from your bank account immediately after you have completed and paid for your booking.

 

Security in online trading

You can trade securely through our online booking system. As a consumer, you are fundamentally protected against misuse of your credit card online, which means that there is no excess in the event of misuse of your card via the internet.

Changing your booking

If you wish to change your booking, please contact the campsite directly.

 

Shipping and delivery

When you book and pay for a cabin, room, or space for your own tent, caravan, or motorhome, you will receive a booking confirmation/contract from Hindsgavl Camping, which serves as your receipt for the purchase.

 

The contract can be printed from the website after booking and will also be sent by email immediately after purchase, provided the correct email address has been provided.

 

The booked service is provided upon arrival at Hindsgavl Camping on the day of arrival and ends on the day of departure – both dates are stated in the contract. The booked service cannot be transferred to others or exchanged for cash.

 

Cancellation and refunds

 

You may cancel your booking under the following conditions:

 

Camping

 

Cancellation no later than 30 days before arrival date: The amount paid will be refunded, minus an administration fee of 300 DKK.

Cancellation between 30 and 14 days before arrival date: 50% of the full rental price will be refunded, minus an administration fee of 300 DKK.

 

Cancellation less than 14 days before arrival date: The amount paid will not be refunded.

 

Cabins and rooms

 

Cancellation no later than 30 days before arrival date: The amount paid will be refunded, however, an administration fee of 700 DKK will be deducted.

 

Cancellation between 30 and 14 days before arrival date: 50% of the full rent will be refunded, however, an administration fee of 700 DKK will be deducted.

 

Cancellation less than 14 days before arrival date: The full rental price must be paid.

 

If the stay has already begun, the booked period is binding and cannot be transferred to others.

 

Registration of data

 

Hindsgavl Camping registers your name, address, email, and other information provided in connection with your booking. The information is not disclosed to third parties but is stored in our customer database for five years.

 

We use server-side cookies and a secure connection to protect the information you provide on the website.

 

Credit card payments are made via a secure server, where the information is encrypted before being sent over the internet.

 

If there are pricing errors in the online booking, the prices stated on the website will always apply.

 

Handling of complaints

 

If you do not receive your contract after booking, and you do not receive an error message from the system, please contact us by email or phone.

 

Complaints regarding the booking process, the booking itself, or the product ordered (the stay) must be submitted within a reasonable time after the error is discovered or should have been discovered when reviewing the contract. You can complain both in writing and verbally.

 

One year after the start of the stay, the right to make a claim expires, cf. Section 83(1) of the Danish Sale of Goods Act, unless otherwise agreed.

 

When we receive a complaint, we will process it as quickly as possible and assess whether a refund, replacement, or other form of compensation is required.
